A and I drove to Tyler on Friday to go to the Caldwell Zoo there with our friends Jennifer, Caleb, and Madison. A did really great, and managed to get in both of her naps on the drive out and back. Mommy really enjoyed seeing all the animals. I took lots of pictures for J to use in some science powerpoints next year (does that make the zoo trip tax deductible? ... ;). A really enjoyed looking at all the people. I don't think she looked at a single animal! At least her admission was free...

I now hate it when kids' things refer to "zoo animals" now that we live where they are called "wild animals." When we get home we'll give you some "real" photos of the "real deal." I hate seeing zebras and elephants in enclosures now. I've become an African wildlife snob!
