Congratulations J for finishing your first half marathon! So sad that I did not see you cross the finish line :( I really thought it was going to be another 1/2 hour and I had plenty of time to get the Starbucks.... it was cold!
Anyway, J ran 13 miles in 2 hours and 20 minutes which is pretty good considering how little training he was able to complete this busy spring. And of course, he had to put a thought provoking sentence on the back of his shirt. He said the most interesting comment he heard as people discussed it was "slowly and steadily", don't think they really got the point....

yea J!!! i would have congratulated you tonight at the picnic if i would have known! i'm glad someone is working out for all of us slackers. =)
