Today I (J) took the girls to the park. Mommy had to work. While at the park A was playing with a steering wheel on the playscape. Here's the conversation that followed:
A: I drive Mommy car?
J: Yes, you can drive Mommy car. (car noises)
J: I want Hide 'em 2. I want Hide 'em 2. I want Hide 'em 2. I want Hide 'em 2. (This is a CD that A always asks for when we get in the car)
A: Please? (which she said in a "You are supposed to say please first" sort of way)
J: Please.
A: Ok. 1, 2, 3, (We always start counting the seconds while waiting for the CD to start playing)
It was just so funny because she did everything just like we would have done.
Later, I (P) was putting her to bed and we were saying our prayers.
P: Thank you God for A and for E and..
A: (interrupting) thank you daddy
What a sweetheart.
Here she is walking in mommy's shoes.
Note the look of intense concentration as she tries not to fall.
Here are E and A playing in the kitchen while we were making dinner.
