Our pastor at church has asked us to pray for what Jesus wants instead of what we want. God wants us to put our plans aside and follow his. The pastor told a story of a family with a three year old who was praying. The child took the prayer and changed it around a little. Instead of praying "Jesus may we want what you want." she prayed, "Dear Jesus, Could You just help You to want what I want?" Basically, like many of us, she sees her plans as better than God's. May God help our small faith. May we follow His plans for our lives.
