This is from dinner tonight at Chuy's (best restaurant ever!!). A grabbed her fork and immediately started scooping beans, rice, and cut up enchilada into her mouth with skill never before seen. By the end of the meal she was covered in beans, but she had eaten quite a lot too and we were very proud of her and her fork skills! Yea A!
Here is A with Nana at work. Mommy had a meltdown day today, so Nana invited us to join her at work and took us for ice cream for mommy's sanity. Thank you Nana!! A really enjoyed "writing" (yes, ink all over shirt and hands), talking on the "hello" (phone), and saying "Hi" to all the customers who came in.
Wednesday A and I went to Northpark Mall to see the trains with our friends Kim and Jack. A really enjoyed looking at all of the trains and we had a good time hanging out and wandering the mall. A and Jack enjoyed yelling nonsense at each other - loudly - during lunch.
Who says an electric cord isn't an appropriate toy for an almost 16 month old??!?! I can't find a way to get the cord out of A's reach from my sewing machine I recently acquired from my grandmother. They only thing she tries to plug the cord into is the frame of the machine...

just make sure she doesn't do like her uncle and plug and old extension cord in the wall socket and end up burning her bed sheets.
