Consignment Sale Extravaganza

So, I went a little crazy at the Just Between Friend's sale last week, but I am really excited about all of my finds. And A doesn't need any more clothes until April or May and E should be good for life (gotta love those hand-me-downs)...

A new bouncy chair for E, that I think will be pretty good at keeping her safe from being dragged out of it by A (the old bouncy chair was donated to a friend in need prior to my realizing I was pregnant at the time of donation. Doh!)

Infant car seat carrier (stored on it's side in the closet for now) with TWO bases for.... $15 !!! Score. It's in great shape too. I never had an infant car seat carrier for A, we just used the Britax convertible from day 1, but it's cheaper and easier to use a car seat we can move easily from one car to the other (especially for Aunt Mommy (aka Libby - here is your shout out)). Rather than buy the 2 or 3 more Britax's we'd need to be able to transport E and A in mom, dad, AND Libby's car all in the same day (as is what happens when I work).

A's favorite of my finds. Now she has something to play on in the backyard. She hasn't figured out how to use the steps yet, she just wants to walk up the slide. Silly girl.

This is E's new crib, now all I need is the mattress (and I have a lead on a cheap, never-been-used mattress from a friend at work...). I got the crib and the Ocean Wonder's aquarium at the sale.

And the clothes, man did I buy some clothes. But they were all such good deals! Mostly Gymboree and Children's Place. Christy B was NO help in trying to help me cut down on the clothes I was buying (but she did find me 2 more items (including a UT cheerleader's outfit for A) to purchase also, thanks! ;)

I am almost completely ready for E. I still need to wash E's stuff and I need the mattress, a plain white bed skirt, and new breast pump tubing and I'll then have everything I NEED. There are 2 or 3 more things I WANT, but we'll see.... Now, if only it was Christmas and time for E to be here! Why do I always nest so early!! Oh well, guess that is when I have the energy for it.
